Tim Kane
Director of Risk and Compliance
Tim began his tenure at Harbor Oaks Hospital in 1997 as a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist and served as Director of Recreational Therapy from 2000 to 2016. He became Program Director of the Adjudicated Mental Health Residential Unit in 2002 and held that position until 2006 when he became the Recipient Rights Officer from 2006-2008. In 2008, he became the Director of Risk, Quality and Compliance. Tim has led several PI initiatives that have led to a substantial decline in falls, elopements and mechanical restraints during his tenure. He has been the team lead in planning, preparing, and facilitating four very successful Joint Commission surveys dating back to 2010. Tim graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy in 1996.
